4 barrel Carburetor air cleaner stud

I have the spectre air clean but the stud to short and I couldn't put the bolt on and tighten it,and when I took the air cleaner off the bolt wouldn't even tighten on the stud can somebody send me links on longer studs

ALso why does These spectre stud curves ?

It curves because it's for a offset base , normally to move air cleaner forward for distributor .
As for the stud itself why not buy redy rod the size you need , be cheaper.

You think autozone should sell longer studs ?

Or just get some threaded rod and cut to length. Run the nut down from the other end to clean off any burs.

I have an aftermarket stud (threaded rod) that is the correct thread for a quadrajet and correct length for the stock air cleaner. If you can wait for it, PM me your address and I'll mail it to you. I replaced it with an OE piece because I'm a hardware Nazi. If you don't want to wait get one of these....

You should be able to get one at the auto parts. 1/4-20 thread, 6" long. Cut to fit.
