442 exhaust system parts question

Your local parts store should carry everything under the Walker exhaust line.

You can go to www.walkerexhaust.com and enter you vehicle information. It'll give you all the part numbers for the system.

However I can tell you that you'd be better off buying an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system with mandrel bends. The stock stuff is actually pretty expensive.

goood deal i checked it out, now where would i take them part numbers to?

I just ordered a completely original exhaust system for an '87 Grand National through our store. I would assume it would be about the same setup? Duals back over the axle, a dual inlet/outlet muffler and two tailpipes?

wow, so i got prices on my exhaust, for everything its about $700  its even more if i were to buy an aftermarket catback exhaust system like FE3X CLONE suggested. so i will stick with my thumping on the floor board exhaust system for now haha unless someone knows a cheaper way

I just did my exhaust today (09-09-2010) on my Monte Carlo using the olds 442 system for an 87- 88. I got the 2 tailpipes and the cat back y pipe plus two of the thrush welded mufflers for less than 250. Dont remember the exact amount but Advance got it for me overnight. You will have to add your hangers for the tailpipes unless you have the correct factory brackets for your ride. 8) The stock 442 parts are available.

I did my exhaust on my 82 from headers back. The front pipes I made myself with some random pipe. I bought cheapo Flow tech mufflers from Summit for like 30.- each and the dual 442 tail pipes from Napa for about 75.- for the pair. The left one is a few bucks more. I got generic hangers and went to work. So I spent less than 200.- for my pipes and it looks rear good for a back yard mechanic work. I was not able to find the 442 tail pipes from either Advance or Auto Zone. Only Napa or a local parts chain had them in stock or could even cross reference the part numbers.
