Nice hood. I had that type made by Good Hood on my 99 2dr Tahoe. They sell light duty springs for fiberglass hoods. No ugly prop rod in the way.

I like the style with straight openings on the scoops. It sounds like the fit and finish is better on the VFN hood than the angled US body source hood.

I really like that hood. Changes the whole look of the car. Gaps and body lines fit well. Looks way better than the one I used to have on mine. Very nice! Are you going to install hood locks?

It's fibreglass but has a steel frame so it attaches to hinges an front hook, no need for pins

Yes it really clean, bolt on an away. I would buy again from VFN even with the high cost shipping an border fees.
