Just looking for recommendations on headers for and 86 cutlass with a 454 and th350. Basically looking for recommendations on a set that don't require a bunch of mutilation to fit

That's my thread linked in the post above. ^^ It is chock full of pertinent technical info and photos, and worth reading.

Summary: I am using FlowTech 11130 headers (or some other brand's knock-off clone of them). Now that I've got them on the car and working, I'd still recommend them provided you know you'll need to do a little work to make them fit. The driver's header is a cakewalk; two easy dimples for the engine mount and the control arm bracket and you're golden. The passenger side takes a bit more work, but if you decide up front to cut and move the one tube, you'll have almost no trouble whatsoever. Another plus for these headers is that they can easily be installed and removed with the engine in the car--great for test-fitting your modifications.

Are they perfect? Well, no. But I only paid $40 for them used, so it was worth it for me to work with them.

Hooker 2455s fit with some dents or saw-zall to the lower control arm mount.

The Hooker 2241 slip tube headers fit great. No cutting. You can not use a kick out oil pan. They cost twice as much. Have to put them in before the motor for the most part.

There are some Black Jack header copies out there that are small tube that will slip in place.

These headers are often listed as 67-69 Camaro or 68-72 396. There are versions for $140 on ebay. Small tubes. Slip right in. Have to cut the driver side cam shell/motor mount for the front tube (on almost all big block Chevy headers).

These shorty headers will only fit with tubular style upper a-arms

Yeah I was wondering if there were any other car applications that'd be close to fitting

Thus is how they fit with aftermarket upper A-arms.

Also, really tight on the oil filter.

In that pic you can see I had made a fatal error with the Milodon kick out oil pan. Just makes starter swaps a pain.

I have bought every set of used big block Chevy headers I have came across just to test fit them.
