Engine looks great, big improvement over the 307 in all ways. Except weight I suppose. 🙂

That looks pretty damn good...What other plans in store for that stump puller?

Could also try por-15 engine enamel thats what i used on my engine ,hold up for a long time, engine looks great, do you have to shoe horn it to get it in .makes me wish i would have went for a 455 pontiac instead of settling on the sbc .
Thanks, it was tight but this is a B body Buick LeSabre, the headers were very tight and gonna have to get out the ballpeen for column shifter clearence.

A fresh transmisson (350 or 400 turbo),new exhaust with X pipe, front springs, windshield, orig. paint color, 17 or 18 in rocket racing boosters, maybe a 9in ford with a posi and 3:50's custom driveshaft to handle the torque, stereo, maybe custom leather or just recover the old inteior to keep the old memories in tact.I might try my hand at smoothing and tucking the bumpers sice I have an extra set. I'd really like to give it the hotchkis treatment and big disc brakes all around.

If anyone is looking for block & head painting options I had mine powdercoated for $200 its a lot cheaper than people think and it last a long time and resists staining also.

I have installed the fresh 400 turbo, made a crossmemember for it, filed the headers flat installed new gaskets, swapped exhaust to 2 1/2 in pipes with Flowtec Terminator mufflers to the rearend, made solid motor mounts and installed them. Relocated the alternator forward and put pwr steering and alt belts on now i have better pwr steering. Swapped out a tire that had a knot on it. It's a lot quieter now drives better and smoother ride. Still does'nt look any better though. Can't wait to insall the new front coil springs, get rear tires, shocks all around and finish the exhaust!
