2002 4L60E out of a Firebird. Is this it? It looks awful short (that's what she said!).

I know the picture may not represent the actual part, but I thought they had spiral grooves and oil holes?

As mentioned by flemming442 the bushing has been used in a wide variety of GM rear wheel drive automatics including your 4l60e and the later 4l65E. There are three types, babbit (most common), bronze, and a Teflon lined one. It will measure 1.63" OD x .093" long.

.093" LONG?!?! Is it just an o-ring?
I took the measurements out of my parts catalog I have, and I believe there is an obvious error in the length they show. However, I can assure you after looking at other parts suppliers catalogs, the bushing that fits your 4l60E is the same one that fits a TH350. I sold a lot of those bushings in the past, and for sure, they're not to the best of an old memory, .093" long. Any transmission shop in your area will have that bushing in stock. Sorry about the book error, and an older memory that should know better.
