Just wondering if anyone has a working dipstick option for a locking 4L80e swap?

Or, will a Lokar dipstick pass tech at the strip? I'd rather do this now since the trans is coming out again.

I've got a GM locking dipstick that I had to bend up a little. It'll work if ya need it

Here you can see it mounted on back of the head. Problem was there wasn't enough room from the firewall when I slid frame back under the body.

That's the original design, I had to give mine some bending to get it to clear the firewall too.
I'll tell you something. If I had to do it over again I'd want about half an inch more clearance at firewall.

I think Scott has a tad more room than us with his mounts, BMR right Scott? But if its close enough I can make it work... I am not loving the Lokar flexible dipstick.

Tony, have you done poly body mounts? Made a huge difference on my regal for space.

ICT billet swap plates but I'm running 1" setback which is stupid of me. I don't have much clearance back there. Problem is if I move the engine forward the trans mount will miss the crossmember by a cvnt's hair.

That's about the same as the Holley mounts, 1" back, maybe a tad higher. So itll definitely work for me. Nice!
