The factory T-50 5-speed was available from 1976 to 1979 in the Cutlass models. The shifter used was an internal rail system with no exterior linkage. The stick was fairly thick and the shifter ball on top was a press fit, not a screw-on, unless the shaft was modified to accept a screw-on knob.
