Dad had a white 65 coupe with a 289 he wrecked drag racing backwards. Ripped out the drive train and plopped it into a roller 69 Mach 1. He drove it a year or two and it's sat in the garage ever since.
When I was looking at g body's I asked him if I could buy it or I was gonna buy a regal I was looking at. With me Belonging to this form You can guess what his answer was. It's still sitting in the garage.

A few years ago I almost bought my best friends 68 Mustang for 1500 bucks. Interior was real nice, straight rust free car, good running 302, but paint job had a lot of runs in it. I talked him out of it and bought his skid steer instead . He needed money really bad at the time. All though the skidsteer has been a good investment I should have bought the Mustang because a few years later he sold it just because he didn't drive it any more.
A Mustang ?? Just kidding I have one too. Beautiful workmanship and I'm sure inside is the same as out. I like the red line tires. Mines rare but the price hasn't caught up. One of 731 made - one of one on color
