I agree You are playing with fire doing burnouts with a 7,5 rear end. They tend to break .I would go with a 8.5 ten bolt or aftermarket rear end if you want play.

They just werent meant for that abuse, sad as it is. Auburn units. C-Clips. The joys of 80s gm entry level differentials.

Does someone have a picture of these factory Auburn units? I’ve been running an auburn pro in my 442 for the last 30 years and it is stout. Must be an entirely different unit.
