hello everyone! If I could just ask some opinions that would be nice. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to look. So I have an 84 cutlass supreme and I swapped a Chevy 350 and want to put in a 700r4 and need a new crossmember. I heard a couple suggestions and one was from jegs so my question is if anyone used this one and if it fits good and how they like it. Thank you!

Greetings Stuart & all; I have one (modified OE unit) for sale, cheap! It works fine but it's not pretty. Make me an offer you can live with + shipping (est $40-45) and it's yours! Bob Jr.
Ps: Note clearance (torch & BFH) for exhaust, left side.

On my 700r4 install on my 84 camino I used a 84-96 Crown Vic/Lincoln dual hump crossmember that will work with just a little modification.
Went to the local upullit & got one for $10 ! t's about 3.5 inches wider than a G body frame, so you just trim each end equally (to keep the mount centered), smash the ends flat again, drill the bolt holes, and put it in. It's tubular, and only weighs about 12 lbs, so is even lighter, but still stronger, that a stock camino trans mount. If neccessary, you can cut the mount off of it and reweld it back into a different position, but don't need to do that on a 5th gen camino

bubbameano, thanks for the pics. that is fantastic.
in the past i was able to use the factory crossmember by angling it and only using three of the bolt holes, but i was still running single exhaust at that time.
