    Hey everyone I haven't been on here in a while but have been waiting till after the holidays to buy some of the more expensive parts for the 2 door regal wagon. But I ended up with a new little cruiser that I think alot of people can relate to especially the older crowd that grew up in one of these. I bought the car for 350$ been fiddling with getting it running

    Back in the early 1990's I bought a Slant Six 1970 Barracuda in FM3 Moulin Rouge from the Fort Worth, TX police impound Auction for $375. Cleaned the mud out of the fuel tank, blew out the fuel line, rebuilt the carb, got it to start and idle, but couldn't get it to run for ****, so I stripped out the interior (and put it in my '70 440-4 Cuda) and sold the rest for $800.

    I still have the build sheet to to show people they actually made slant six 1970 Barracudas.

    I'm not at all a Mopar guy but dodge put a slant 6 in pretty much anything besides rt or hemi specific packs. Do you recall if the carb was this same pile of garbage I have? Mines a 1 barrel Holley 1920

    I'm pretty sure it was a 1 bbl. Back then the "rebuild kit" was like $6.

    It would idle, but had zero drivability. I just bought it as a parts car, but thought it would be cool to get it to run/drive. I gave up.

    Yeah this will only give me so much trouble and ill put a 4.8/5.3 turbo 400 in it which is the plan down the road but to many things going on to do a swap right now

    I've got to the point where the float has taken on weight the bad thing is the don't make a replacement float, on top of that I could convert it to another float but that float is 60$ which I'm not willing to spend on it I'm hoping it'll run once we swap these intakes I'm waiting on a friend on the intake tho
