On my future Buick Century turbo project = it had a serious engine fire. I'm wondering if there are any differences on the regular carbed 3.8 V6 Buicks to a turbo 3.8 V6 Buick complete engine wire harness in 1978 to 1980
I've been reading up on the controllers. 78 did not have them and 79-80 did. They are stand alone units but must be some special distributor maybehttps://books.google.ca/books?id=PSfhbsLLQTwC&pg=PA123&lpg=PA123&dq=hot+air+buicks&source=bl&ots=8Ie7BpINSV&sig=SYvyZdNaVQq1JPR69-QJtcYHQ5U&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjC49vCi9zWAhXD6yYKHbGQBxAQ6AEIcTAN#v=onepage&q=hot air buicks&f=false
The early turbo cars had special controllers for knock detection and timing adjustment IIRC. There used to be a carb'd hot air forum on Turbobuicks.com
