I guess its time to start a build thread. A little back story on the car. A guy that I know picked it up at an auction just to use the sheetmetal for his dirt track car. When he got it home he decided that it was to good of a car to tear apart for that. So I picked it up for 1100 bucks. I think that may be a little high with a salvage title, but I really wanted the car. Someone started to fix it at some point before he got it and was doing a half *ss job. So it will all get redone. I plan to replace the 305 with a mildly built 350. Anyways here are a few pics.

Tried out another set of wheels today. Gotta buy some spacers for the rear. Anyone know how much I need to space them out? 16" camaro rs wheels.

Well a little update, have wheel spacers on order. Also picked up my 350 block from the machine shop the other day. I have most of the internals for the engine, just have to decide on some pistons. Its gonna have a mild cam, roller rockers, flat top pistons, and of coures all new bearings. Fresh set of port and polished heads. I have a double roller timing chain and billet dist/msd box for timing. Haven't made a decision on an intake yet or bought headers. Any suggestions on long tube headers?

I'm running a set of flow tech ceramic headers and I love them. My car breaths and sounds great. Nice easy forint if installed from under the car, no complaints. As far as the Intake if your running a cam with a mild power band I would choose the performer rpm or the ebrock air gap personally.
