Hello, new to the forum. But here goes. I have a 78 chevy malibu classic coupe non landeau. I've replaced the 2 door outer window felts and turned out very well. Now I decided to replace the rear 1/4 window sweeps/ seals
I've tried mikes montes that are not even close and I've tried dixie restoration. They were identical to mikes montes. Both sets don't even line upto the door felts. Anyone run into this?

I just replaced mine last weekend got them from Dixie. Other than having to cut off about a centimeter, they fit great. I have a 78 Malibu non-Landau top.

I guess the ones on my doors do have a larger metal piece. I got both of them from Dixie.

This is the difference between Dixie and factory. It's about a quarter inch I could use them but it looks terrible that the front and rear don't line up

Mine were so shot when I took them off that there was no way I could have used them again. I really think that the only person that's really going to notice is you - and anyone else you pointed it out to. I breathed a sigh of relief when I got my windows back in. What a PITA.
