Yes, please.

FYI to perspective buyers. Aberdeen is on the coast so this one may be a little crusty if it's spent much of it's life there. That part of the country doesn't salt the roads though, so the frame rails are likely decent. Otherwise, looks pretty okay in the pics.

Yeah, he knows what he's got. But relatively speaking, not wrong. I really want one -- Maybe someday.
This particular car is no creampuff and "zero rust" is, somehow, a relative term. If it really spent most of it's life in eastern Washington (high desert) I would expect it to be pretty rust free. It's the time it spent on the coast that would be the issue.
No AC and power nothing has it screaming for a BBO and a TKO.

This place has TWO 1978 and 1979 442 for sale. Raleigh, NC

$5900. Red/white. Seems pretty nice at first blush.

$4900 Black/gold. '79. Paint's not great, but it seems solid.

I know nothing about them, have no idea of the owner or nothing. You know what I know if you look at the ads.

I like these body styles, the Buick Centuries turbo coupe better, but the Olds are nice too. You really don't see many around. The one in Washington state is a good deal, but shipping kills you in the end :/

The 442 package was only available on the Cutlass Salon or Salon Brougham models in 1978 and 79. Only 2518 made in 1978 and just 630 in 1979. The slant-back body style wasn't very popular so the 442 sales plummeted and the body style was discontinued very early in the 1980 model year.
At least for 1980 the 442 was based on the Cutlass Calais and sales "jumped" to 886 cars.
