Externally thats the easiest conversion. Header, bumper, hood and mouldings . One of the magazines had a weite up on that years ago.

I would really like to know how they did the rear wheel well trim.
And why wouldn't you make the center console functional?
I would love to have it, but I would need to really take some time to look it over.
My guess is that the work was done in the 80's. That's when they were installing the roof top sprinkler systems.
My 1st Grand Am had the double flip up sunroof. Simple fix.....flip the seats forward and hold in place with the sun visors.
The rain water would just run down the back of the seat and onto the rear floor!!
