79 Lemans Hood

Will a 79 malibu hood fit or will any other hood fit on a 79 grand lemans?

I guess it depends on what you mean by "fit". A Malibu hood will bolt on and fit in the spot, but the body lines down the center are not the same. The "V" down the center of the Lemans hood is much narrower at the front. The Body lines in the Malibu hood will not line up with your bumper/header panel.
