Wipers quit... Unplugged the washer two prong plug and had the wipers working again. Ordered a new Non-delay washer pump from Advanced Auto Pats for $25. Being careful not to lose the screws down between fender well and firewall, I removed the old pump. After comparing internals (slight differences) I decided it would work.

Cleaned "ground wire" copper band near the bottom. Re-greased wiper motor gears and other internals. Installed new washer pump, pushed on the two wire connectors. Hold my breath and test... i noticed that the square catch the pulls the toothed cog was not engaging. I lifted it and let it go and CLICK ! It started working. After a few more tests... Pulled the connectors, put the plastic cover on and re-attached the connectors. Followed by a few more tests.
