79 regal and 85 cutlass a/c and heater controls the same?

I have an 85 cutlass with broken heater control switch assembly and a 79 regal with a good one. Does anybody know if these are the same? They are both A/C. I would just pull it and try it but my regal is in Mass. So Im trying to figure out if it will work before I have my dad pull it and send it out.
