Any tips for putting the upper control arm bushing in the rearend housing. I have some big hammers a freezer and a torch if you see where I'm leaning

I used a bearing press and some sockets.

The ball joint press works well. Make sure to put them in the same way as the old ones. I used spherical bushings from Speedway to minimize binding. The ones from UMI are far better and rebuildable.

Nice 8.5! Just like GM intended. No extra weight and plenty strong.

NOTE: Get direction from the posi carrier manufacturer and use their recommendation for gear lube. If you have an aftermarket posi carrier do not automatically assume it needs the lubricant additive. Auburn posi carriers as an example will not operate correctly if you add it. Even using synthetic gear oil will reduce the clutch effectiveness.....

That does look nice. With a factory style clutch style posi, go 85W140 non synthetic gear oil with the additive built in.
