Shift at 5500
I have read that, if they do, that is about perfect. I would personally stake the spring on the small weight by tapping and adding a small screw, they can fly off.

Realistically, that's where it probably runs out of breath without help. I'm just being realistic: go 4-500 over peak, so when it shifts, you're back on the power curve hump...

Jeff from Evolution said someone has modified the governor to have the shifts higher.
He also added clutches to every other pack. And the piston is machined so could stuff an extra clutch in the overdrive.
4th gear lock up on a pressure switch only, just supply one 12V switched wire source and that's it. Only comes on part throttle in 4th
2200 to 2400 stall. Apparently a custom converter built in Vancouver.

I would think the stock GN governor would be perfect, depends where they actually shift. Anubis has gone to the dark side where low end torque doesn't exist😁. I love that flat curve and tons of torque right from 2900 rpm. I had my shifts right around 5000 rpm and it worked well with my 214/214 cam. What stall are you going with?
Hehe. You forget I’m running a 6.2 with variable valve timing. Want to compare torque curves? A properly built Olds should be able to handle 6000 no problem. Let it eat.

Yeah, if it has been modified and shifts anywhere between 5500 to 6000 rpm should work fine. The governor on the 2004R is trial and error. He has the heavy forged Speedpro pistons on stock rods, I would argue 5500 rpm is better for long durability. I have never drove a 6.2, I would imagine with the right tune they haul big time. The Gen 3/4 truck 5.3 and one beat on 6L I drove sucked awful. It has to be torque management, they all felt way under their power ratings. Probably protecting the 4L70E junk and the 6 spd programming SUCKED. The two 5.3 gen 5's I drove were massively better, night and day.

Good evening all. Question for the experts about me swapping the th350 to the 200r4. The 442 already has floor shifter, but now putting in lightning rods, what am I required for linkages to have this all set up?
Thanks

You should be able to reuse your linkage and column interlock parts but will need a new lightning rod cable and transmission bracket which is specific to the 4 speed lightning rods. The lightning rods will bolt to your existing sheet metal brackets.
