It's been a busy winter, so no real progress. I will be buying some new rubber for the front.

I just scored a CK performance shift kit with billet servo local for cheap. So I'll be tossing that in there in the coming weeks.

Small update: I picked up a Snow Performance Stage 2 alky kit. This kit is brand new, 3 quart reservoir, pump, tubing LEDs, solenoid upgrade, pump, low level sender, two small nozzles, and maf interface. Got it from a friend of a friend for a good price.

As you all know, I am running the EBL SFI-6. I won't be using the controller, since my engine management will control the alky pump. No need for a separate controller or Hobbs switch.

The nozzles aren't big enough, but I have an M15 already. The other thing is the push to connect tubing, not real sure I like that, I may take the pump head off and make it so I can use -4 AN fittings.

I'll use the tank for now, but the long term plans are for me to fabricate a stainless tank with a 4 to 5 quart capacity.

So, to get the car ready for spring, I need to install the intrepid fans, the CK performance shift kit and billet servo, get the alky installed, mount the nitrous bottle, and mount new front tires. I'll have to tune for the bigger turbo, nitrous and alky.

I have 4 FR500 wheels I will be painting all black to match the stripes and other stuff. I may get those done in time too. This is all while my Father, cousin and I are building 3 houses, and I am fixing things to sell my current house.

No interior this year for sure.

I did get little wrench time tonight. I dropped the transpan and started installing the shift kit. I found the cause of my soft 1-2, a broken accumulator spring. No real material in the pan so hopefully it'll last this year.

I have to finish it up, only had about 2 hours to tonight to work on it.

Got the shift kit and billet CK servo done, man what a b*tch. I've never had such a tough time with a servo.

I had the original BFR servo and pin out and measured it, then took the pin and assembled the CK out of the car and measured by it. The measurements were the same.

With no springs I seem to have .060".

I just couldn't get the damn servo compressed enough to get the snap ring in there. It BARELY snuck by the outside of the servo cover. I did manage to get it together last night. I tried to double check the clearance, but the fit is so tight, when I compress the servo it doesn't spring back out.

I won't be able to road test it for a month or so, when all the salt leaves PA roads.

I also had a power steering line leak, and the oil cooler lines in the radiator were seeping. I snugged those up. The damn stainless lines are a pain to get to seal at times.

I yanked the stock GN cooling fan and mocked up the intrepid fans. Waiting on some weather strip to show up today to finish the install.

No pics, I got so wrapped up and frustrated it slipped my mind. I'll take a few fan install be picks tonight.

The weatherstripping came in, gotta love Amazon! Anyway, I put the bulb weatherstripping on the top and bottom of the fan, and some closed cell foam stuff glued to the sides. The sides sit on the tank edges, and the top and bottom sit on the tube and fin.

I made brackets using my trusty Eastwood sheer, and some stainless strap. Then I used oem clip nuts and some Allen button heads to hold it together. The brackets were painted with Eastwood under hood black.

I used the factory GN fan connector spliced and soldered to the fan harness. So I have high and low speed.

Now, I have to make new steel front bumper brackets, the aluminum ones are too soft. After 1k miles of driving, stiff suspension, and PA roads, the bumpers actually sagged.

So, I'll fabricate steel brackets, with a provision on the DS for the alky pump. I am not concerned with the extra pound.
