Jack, I bought the kit online, about 33 bucks. I'd have to dig up the p/n.

If you have a good box, but with a bad leak, it's the way to go. If the steering gear part is worn, may be better to get a lower mileage box.
Thanks man. Fortunately my steering box is still in good shape...no leaks.
It's been in the car since 2000...and it was used. Gotta love those 800 series boxes. It's already had two 605 boxes replaced.

Thank you. I have a few things out of the car, so it's be down for a week or so. I have to swap out the defective ac compressor, recharge the air. Then put the intercooler and front sway bar back on.

I remembered to snap a pic of the kit I used to rebuild my steering box. The instructions were lacking, but there are good resources on the web. The hardest part was getting there balls back in.
