Ok Gbody, got out there last night and did a few things. I bought the correct turn signal stalk for a GN, so I can get the cruise control working correctly. I installed that. I had to redo the sill plates. If those following remember, I had blasted the anodizing off of them and coated them with Plasti-Dip. Bad Idea, since as soon as you tightened down the screw it pulls up the coating. So, I had to strip it all off, and just primer, black base, and cleared them. They'll look good for a while before they get scratched up. I installed those with the painted kick panels and lower B and dog leg trim.

I dug out the gauge panel, and the new custom switches, gauge, and indicator from Nu-Vintage, I just have to come up with a plan on getting everything installed and looking nice in a new panel. I made a cardboard template, and will begin fabricating a blank out of fiberglass.

My buddy is spraying the mirrors for me, so I hope to have those any day now so I can polish and install them.

What rear brake set up are you working with Jim?

My rear calipers are towards the front of the car and likely everyone knows what that means. I refuse to swap sides with the calipers and then have things cattywumpus. I started to create clearance by grinding the cooling fins off the calipers but because it's an 80's car, one side would clear while the other would not. For what it's worth, I'm leaving them in that position for better balance but my welder pro is going to net me some additional clearance with a well pipe cut in half. Yeah, I'm hard headed, but at least I don't bleed as much as I used to. ...

I am using 98-02 Camaro backing plates, and C5 Vette calipers. The backing plates I welded the stock holes shut, and clocked the calibers how I needed them to clear the shocks, yet keep the bleeders in the right spot. I only had the move them a hair.

My brown wagon used fbody calipers with integral parking brake, I ran those front side of the axle. Clearance was tight, but they fit.

Let's bump this up. After a bunch of military travel, and a week's vacation at the Outer Banks, Madison get a little bit of work done. I'll be doing more military travel so progress will be slow, but I should be driving in here in a week or two.

Now, a picture to show what I am working on.

Still following along on your build since the MRacing days! I should really stop by and see this in person. I sued to drive by Tobyhanna every week when I was called up and stationed at Picatinny Arsenal. 80, to 380, to rt81 north and I'm home. Keep plugging along!

I see a TURBO, FLAME THROWER and EJECT on three of the rocker switches.

What are the others for?
