After a few weeks away, I'm getting back on it. Starting to work on the emergency brakes tonight. I took the emergency brake lever off of the backing plate, and it am going to modify it to accept the stock cable. I'll also fabricate a bracket to hold it to the lower control arm. Pics by to come later tonight.

Thank you!
I came up with a plan for the emergency brake. What I ended up doing is modifying the lever that goes into the backing plate to accept the stock e-brake cable barrel. I cut the hook off, and used a thick piece of angle iron for the modification. This required drilling a hole for the barrel to just fit through, and a slot to let the cable slip into. I slotted the whole piece so I can slip it over the cut lever, and weld them together.

After welding I trimmed everything up and have a nice lever.

To hold the cable, I again used some angle, and made a few holes. A file and some paint has it looking good. I drilled two 1/4-20 holes in the control arm to hold it, and some stainless ARP bolts with loctite keep it in place.

And finally, I used a short piece of vacuum hose to keep the spring from chafing the paint on the rear, and put it all together. It works like a charm.

Now to do the other side.

been awhile since I've been through the entire thread, but do you have the calipers mounted forward or behind the axle? this was a clever idea, hope you don't mind me copying it when I get back on the Regal...

Thank you. The calibers are mounted behind the axle. They are rotated up a hair, giving me clearance for the shocks.

I completed the driver's side, they work perfectly.

Yesterday I installed the new highway stars ac lines, accumulator, and Delco ac compressor. Nothing really fit so I had to bend and tweak everything. Then I pulled a vacuum for 3 hours and charged it up with r134.

Don't mind the dirty engine bay.

I also installed the new carpet.

Small update, I'm asked to paint a couple of interior parts. The kick panels, the b-pillar lower covers, and rear side seat lower covers. I had to redo my sill plate since to Plasti Dip didn't work out.

I also fit the new carpet.
