81 cutlass trunk lid filler piece

Can vinyl roof trunk filler piece be used on non vinyl car? This is 81 supreme.

I think the two are different but not entirely sure.

The difference is that the vinyl roof trunk piece comes with little rivets that hold the plastic clips for the vinyl trim. You can use it, but you'd have to cut those off and clean it up and paint it etc... Look at it and compare with yours to see for sure.
