Here’s the floor pan going in. It had to be all rebuilt around the floor pan as well, it had a new rocker and inner rocker put in on the drivers side. I was never a fan of the the spare tire well in the trunk so I removed that and made a piece to go in it’s place tedious work drilling out the old spot welds

Some more rust repair and some fresh paint on frame and underbody. I put on summit drag shocks all around. The engine in it is a Chevy 350 bored 0.030 over with eagle cast steel crank(regretting not spending the money on a forged crank now) scat forged rods and SRP pistons, I’ve got a comp xs274s cam with 0.501/0.510 lift and I went with blueprint engines 195cc aluminum heads to top it off

Not the carb and intake that will be staying on it just what I had, I’ll be getting a performer rpm intake and 750 either Holley or brawler

Got the engine in and fired up and a new oversized summit rad, and started priming some things but winters here now and it’s too cold to do bodywork

I’m looking into rims for it, I really want weld pro stars but their very expensive especially here in Canada. Has anyone used the jeg star wheels? They look very similar for a lot cheaper. No whole lot of info on them and you can only get 4.5” backspace. What’s everyone use for back space?
