'82 Elky Dome Light

It comes on when using the headlamp switch, but wont come on when the doors are opened. What type of switch on the door activates it? I see a black plastic switch on each door jamb, appears to have an arm broken off and the switch pivots. Moving the switch does not bring on the light. Thanks!

The black switch you are talking about sounds like the seat belt lock. The dome light switch is in the front door jam. It is metal and sometimes gets dirty just unscrew it and clean it.

x2, it pops up and down...kinda like the switch on a drier door
