How do you like that setup? Looking to do the 2.5" on my 350 install. I want to do the behind wheel versus straights. Is it too loud in the cabin that close up?

Like it very much with 350-350 and exit behind rear wheels. I don't think it is too loud in cabin, and El Camino is probably louder than G-body cars given the open cargo area.

Other than the cross member was there anything else you had to change or modify to fit the pipes?

No. Since I was doing an engine & trans swap at the time, I needed the new cross member anyway... so I was killing two birds with one stone when I installed that. As you can see, the Pypes system integrates perfectly with the G-Force cross member.

I have a true dual exhaust on my 1981 El Camino SS .With Flow Tech 'shorty" headers and 2 1/4 exhaust to Flowmaster mufflers. I had the muffler shop modify the stock crossmember to do so.
