Been debating adding the vinyl woodgrain trim around the car once it's painted. Should I do it?

Good to see you back at it, Blake.
You'll have to post some pics after you replace the front springs.

Amazed it still has the original wind deflector post caps! Those things are impossible to find anymore!

The originals were pretty fried from the Texas sun, but were still intact...
When I painted the car, I got a nice pair from the junkyard and used those... and painted my originals to keep as spares.

What springs do you have up front?

They are currently Moog 5600's... The specs for the 5598 are almost the same, so I'm leaning towards the 5596.
I wish I had just kept the stock V6 springs, would've saved me a lot of trouble lol
I might as well replace the rears too, while I'm at it...

The water pump started going out in my Roadmaster, so the Olds has been back in daily-driver-duty since Friday...
...which has included 80+mph on the freeway, a gravel road, sitting out in, and being driven in the rain lol
It's already filthy, but that's what they're for!

So I ordered up a pair of springs and shocks for the front end right after my last post...
And typical for me, as soon as I received them, my once stiff as a board front-end suddenly had some give!
Now I'm torn between trimming the 5600's and seeing how I like that, or just going straight to the 5596's.
I hate doing things twice, and the potential for a third time makes me cringe...
Either way it's going to be a pain in my *ss and I'm not looking forward to it.
I'm tired of the car sitting like a gasser, so whatever it takes to get the front-end down and behaving like it should is what I'll do...

Yeah I noticed the same with my front springs. I put 5660's with 1/2 long lower ball joints in my 2+2 and it has slowly settled into a good spot. I was for sure planning to cut them but now I don't! It has always rode nice though. Strange yours is so rough.

Did you ever swap the rear springs? My century rear sags BAD with any load and am looking at getting a different set.

Yay for daily wagons! :)

I haven't touched anything on the rear end of this car... ever.
The current shocks and aftermarket cargo coils were on the car when I got it, and surely need replacement as well...
...Though I'm looking to raise the rear end a bit, and it sounds like you're hoping to avoid that.
