Lookin' good so far. I'm digging the seats, console, and shifter. What is the shifter and console out of? Did you modify an A/C box into a non-A/C box?

the console and shifter is out of a 2002 monte. little modifying to the shifter and it will work. I'm still working on the reverse light switch for it but i took a micro switch and made a park safety were it wont start unless in park. works amazing so far! and the A/c box is a delete shell from elcaminostore.com. then i had to cut up my A/c box and retrofit the parts into the new shell. nice thing is once done all of your vents are the same due to the fact its all original besides the shell! only took 5 hours to properly build it. lots of cutting ! but worth it !

i have 700r4. I modified the stock monte shifter cable mounting spot to fit the B&M shifter cable. once i got that all set up i got it all adjusted right but park on the shifter had to be pushed forward for the indicator to read it. so i ground on the shifter gate and this little plastic thing and its pretty much 100%. i found that park on a monte is farther forward on the shifter then the 700r4 is. if you get the monte shifter that doesn't have the gear indicator you can get it to perfect. mine has the indicator strip so i wanted it to be right you still have to push forward a little but its like 1/8 and you can hardly tell. every thing lined up pretty good. I'm 18 and new to the fab stuff and i did it. also the tv cable is nothing hard. i have a trick flow throttle bracket so i had to adjust every thing to the right location but as the tv cable goes you push the button in and push the cable adjuster all the way in then release the button the open the throttle to 100% it will click then your done!
