Hey Guys-
New to forum but have been using as a resource the past year or so- good stuff on here and a big thanks to all who share tech info on here.

So, about 4 years ago my son bought this 83 SS and we've been working on the resto for the last year. We've finally reached a point in the buld where we are reassembling- pretty exciting.

Looking forward to visiting the forum more in the next few months to jog our memories on where things went/go. (did I mention we torn down a year ago)

Pics of our build:

welcome to the forum! father-son projects are the best kind IMO!

looking great! don't be afraid to ask even the simplest questions, as we have members with ranging levels from needing help with oil changes, all the way up to master techs, and waaay fewer jerks than the other forums!

Yep, Father and Son projects are the best bang for the buck for Son and Pa bonding.

Hey Fellas-
It's been a while and we've made some progress on the SS. Were slowly coming to the end of this year and a half long project. Currently finishing up the interior and installed this custom instrument panel today. We plan to use an end console gauge pod from Mikes Montes for mounting the water temp. and oil pressure gauges.

83’ SS Father/Son Resto Complete!

Thanks to all on the forum, Mike Montes, and countless others who have helped us along the way. Took it out for it’s first fill up to the local carry this evening- couple gremlins to chase away yet but not bad for first outing.
