83 olds cutlass 307 picking out carburator

I have an 83 cutlass supreme 307 and it's all stock with the quadrajet carburetor. I want to replace it with edelbrock or Holley and do an a.c. smog delete... wich exact carburetor is the best aftermarket to replace the quadrajet and get it done i need help chosing the exact one I don't want to buy the wrong one thank You!

Get another quadrajet from before the time of the computer.

If you are still using the stock intake, just use a quadrajet and eliminate the other stuff.

No, like was said a quadrajet for a non computer controlled car. research what sizes were available and see how to proceed.

You could also call over to Everyday Performance and see if they have any Olds Qjets 'on the shelf' that are tuned for a stock SBO 307. I've read here that some of the folks have used Everyday Performance for Qjet rebuilds in the past and those users may chime in with their positive experiences.

Just tell them you have a Non CCC 307 that you want a carb for.

They will do the rest!!!!!
