83 Regal led signals not working properly

Ive done a search and didn't find a topic so i started my own.

My issue is i put some leds on my front bumper lights only and they don't blink. I also put in a flasher for leds and still no blinking. I did notice another flasher on my fuse box under the dash so i tried the flasher there and still no blinking. When i turn on the parking lights, the interior signal indicators both stay on continuously. Whats causing this? Do i need 2 led flashers?

I feel like a dumbass but i just noticed after creating a whole topic but i used 1156 instead of 1157 which is probably why they aren't working right. Imma try some 1157's and see what that does.
