Did you rotate 90* at a time while priming?

I did not. But will. I didnt know i should until you mentioned it then i went and did some research

I think I'd be having a talk with the place I got it from- that's bullshit.

It is, but nothing i can do now. I certainly wont be sending it back i already lnvested way too much. I will just have to try and remove theirs and put a new one in

One possible solution while it is on the stand would be to dig the helicoil out and install a new one. I've had good luck with helicoils in the past. I find they are a strong repair if done correctly.
Thats the plan. Bought the stuff today and will be trying it tomorrow. Fingers crossed

So i have a totally newfound respect for guys like rktpwrd, hutch, and all the rest who i have been following along on their builds
Their work is super impressive

Today i cleaned up the engine compartment and these are the
Things i learned along the way

1. It sucks big time
2. Damn this is time consuming and frustrating as hell
3. See 1 and 2
4. It still looks like *ss

I finally said yup this is good enough and sprayed it up. Not showroom but hope it lasts long enough

Installed the tach yesterday. I didnt want to drill any holes anywhere so i chose this route in case i want to change or move it. Im not 100% happy with how it looks but didnt have many other options on my column What do you guys think?

You have a 3-pod A-Pillar option (Assuming Water Temp/Oil Pressure/Tach) but considering you have the gauges already...

I have the gauges in my GP, so all I needed (well, Wanted - didn't really Need) was a tach, so I got a single pod a-pillar mount and a GlowShift Tach..

Really liking the progress. Well done! That steering wheel is bad *ss.

I'd use Velcro and stab it on top of the radio surround. You'll have to flatten the base of course.
