I just ordered a set of Assault Racing A7490 steel core valve cover gaskets. i read on here some guys have had luck with them.

i will post an update once received and installed on how they perform for me

Fixed the oil leak in the valve cover and started her up to do the break in as per the manufaturers instructions
Bonus - speedometer is working
Happy day.

Now to figure out why the brake lights dont work anymore.

Check the fuses and the ground in the trunk for the lights. And awesome man.

Sounds good. Those valve cover gaskets look the same as the Rocket racing valve cover gaskets, mine worked great. Chrome valve covers? They can be hard to seal. Either a quality gasket or glue them on with RTV.

lol with the stock TH200 and stock 7.5 rear end...you would see alot more than a burnout......you would see my rear end fall apart i bet.. haha

it's great you have it running....for the brakes lights check the switch on the brake pedal housing
