Looks like you got a good project ahead of you there. Unfortunately, that's the thing about trying to restore a G-body. It's not cheap. As your finding out quick, you'll probably spend more in parts than what the car cost you or what it's worth.

Yes, Lightning rod shifters are very cool and good clean examples are hard to find at a good price.
