So its been three months now since my cousin wrecked my 84 Regal project, I'm done crying and I'm ready to get back out. there and start dating again lol. So the new project is a 84 H/O all original, missing the correct shifter, spoiler and hood scoop. Rust wise the doors are the worst part, solid floors, qtrs, fenders, mostly just surface rust everywhere. The engine runs but needs to be rebuilt (rocker arm noise or spun bearing idk). Is it best to keep it stock or can I go with a 350 olds and not lose value, I've never had a car this original so I'm kinda lost.

I paid 1200$, I have the the shifter, I'm gonna get the repro spoiler & scoop. I plan to restore the interior, I don't see it being a big time money pit outside of engine work at all.
