Hey everybody. Been gone for awhile but got my Hurst up and running. Lost a rod last fall, cracked the block and bent the crank. Installed a Olds 427 stroker and an Extreme automatics 2004r. Have a few small loose ends to take care of but did get some wheel time. Here are a few pics.

That's awesome to see an Oldsmobile engine getting put into an Oldsmobile. I would love to know about that combo you have going on with that engine. Maybe compare it to my Olds 350 I built..... I'm joking, just want to know what makes it mean.

I like where you're going with this.

You don't have an emissions decal...why not? Got the A/C and brake master cylinder one.

Maybe I can whip you up something a little more personalized, if interested? Like, maybe a 7.0 liter one?

I was going to get one from you at one time...my kid ordered one from somewhere but didn't last long. The shroud is painted now but wasn't when I put it on. Washed it all with Dawn and cleaned it with wax and grease remover first. Maybe it was cheap quality. I will get one from you tho but I am done with it for the year I put it in my kids barn.

Your killing me, what are this motors specs? I have to live through you, as my Olds 358 endlessly sits at the second machine shop.

I may be a little impatient but i gotta know because I want to know how different it is from my Olds "350." Well also to see how well my engine theoretically matches up to yours. As well as you olds307_and_403, I want to know your engine and struggles with your build because I've had problems too.

The first machine shop ****ed up the side clearance and the clearances on at least the one journal I test fit, contact on the bearings. The mains were fine, still waiting on the second shop. The stroker 350 produce BBO torque. The HP seem similar considering the extra CI.

Ah that sucks, I had problems with using a camshaft thrust washer and the clearance of the block to allow it. I also had a fiasco when it came to getting a cam and pistons because of the size I went with and what the machine shop would and wouldn't do for me.
