Back in the good old days, before they repro'd them, they were $36/pr off GMparts direct for NOS... then someone got greedy and bought them all and charged triple.
Congratulations are in order: 1st on getting your first car back, 2nd on having a wife who is amazing enough to buy you a project car for your birthday at all, and 3rd on having said wife be willing to take the time and effort to track down your first car for you.
I for one would be interested in hearing how she found it and managed to get it back after all those years.
Welcome to the site, and, I have to say I am somewhat partial to your 1st car as well - my first was an 83 regal, white with the red cloth and landau top as well (still have it). Look forward to hearing what's in store and some more pics inside and out of what you're dealing with.

I bought a set of after market fillers and they were junk. I don't remember where I bought them though
