All I can say is make sure the converter is fully seated before getting under there and not being able to get it in. Make sure the flexplate is drilled for the right bolt size. I used 7/16” bolts in my car and had to drill out the 3/8” flexplate holes. Finally, make sure you set converter pump depth. Push the converter into trans and then pull out 1/8”-3/16” of pump. Shim converter to keep that depth.
