i am aware that is a common occurrence among monte carlo owners. I need some help figuring out what part is causing the oil pressure gauge to peg. I just changed the OPSU (canister on top of the oil filter) and it continues to peg. I disconnected the wire that connects to the OPSU and cranked the engine and it still pegs. would someone know if the gauge is no good, or if the thin copper wire that connects to the OPSU is no good? any help would be appreciated.
