I've been brainstorming for ya, and I got nothing. How big of an in-tank wire are you planning? A 9005/6/7 right angle headlight socket.....?

3 12 gauge wires. 2 12v and one ground.

Potentially. I might have some other options I need to try.

Is there anyway you can make a two-piece fitting that does what you are looking at achieving?

I was thinking one of these guys, but I doubt it would clear a 3/4" gap. BFH time?

That's what I am working through my brain now. I doubt a mandrel 90 will clear. I might stick the 90 bulkhead in the mill (lathe) and cut the bottom half out and try to die grind the corner radius a bit.

Really like those 2+2's, one was for sale around here for a while but he wanted some big money for it. Once I get more space for cars and some cash would like to get one

I'm back!

Burned most of the weekend cruising, going to the car show and walking aimlessly around the swap meet, then followed by minor house remodeling stuff and a garage reorg and cleaning.

Figured out my wiring passthrough. Just band sawed the buttom part out and the three wires fit well. Deburred the inside corner and it fits well. I'm going to pot the wires with some epoxy and I think it should work. I'm happy with it.

Also pumped the 4 gallons in the tank out and dropped the tank. Swapped the single filter inlet with a Y, built a second tank to filter hose and vaugely mocked it up. If I am ambitious tomorrow I'll pull the pump hanger and see how I'm mounting pump #2.

I also forgot I have the pressure line double hose clamped to the tank barb outlet. I might need to change that and get a real fitting or crimp it solid.

Diddly squat interior update #106

Well I got fed up of my phone and crap falling in the black hole that is the shifter hole in the console, so I ordered up a random 4th gen F body shifter boot on the fleabay. I know its going to be too small so I am going to have to build a filler plate too. I am going to have to go full rolls-royce and buy some plywood for a filler panel or something to match the walnut plastic veneer on the dash.

Entering the dark arts. Woodworking and upholstery!!

You could be really stoopid like me and veneer some walnut over aluminum. If I had done better, it would look great but send>patience.

Well I got fed up of my phone and crap falling in the black hole that is the shifter hole in the console, so I ordered up a random 4th gen F body shifter boot on the fleabay.
