86 Olds 442 TPS Question

My 86 442 just threw two codes, #13 and #21. Both refer to the TPS being out of adjustment. So I replaced the TPS with an aftermarket unit and am unable to dial it in a .48V at idle and 4.8V at WOT. I also used another used TPS from an 87 Cutlass with the 307 and am having the same problem. I can get .48V at idle but only 2.97V at WOT.

Anybody else have this problem?

Thanks...

Tom

I have had this problem with aftermarket TPS's... which is a pain because you have to remove it and get another to try it out. Your best bet is to stick with a GM TPS, especially since it is a wear item...
