I have a complete cluster from an 86 ss that I would like tro put in my 84 non ss with the clock and idiot lights.im pretty sure I saw a writeup on how to do this a while back but cant seem to locate it.could someone direct me?

Yes. you need temp and oil sensors for gauges. The tach will needed a pin for the cluster harness.
the tach has no wire at pin 17 and I don't have a doner harness.can I somehow run a wire directly to the tach?also I want to upgrade the bulbs to 2825s.how many do I need just for illumination?(not blinkers or warning lites)
