I've been looking to get another 442. I bought an 87 442 new in Dec 86, black with gray interior, only power option was seat, and no T-Tops or Sunroof. Now I would like to get another one, but I have noticed there are a number of 87 Black 442's with burgandy interior, when I ordered mine new, I was told the only interior available in the black car is the gray. Does anyone know for sure if the burgandy was available in the black car?

All I can guarantee is my black 86 442 has burgundy interior. I don;t think I have ever seen an 87 with it now that you mention it..

Thats a good question, I think Black/ Claret was available in '87 for the 442, I think i've seen a few but then again the lighting could have made the paint look black.
Now Black w/blue interior wasn't, just blue/blue interior, Maroon/Burgandy only came with a claret interior as well as Gray/Silver with gray interior.
