I had cousins who watched them beyond H.S. caused they loved it when they were stoned. I believe it was for the elementary school aged & the teenage/early 20's stoners.

I had absolutely NO clue where Doozer came from. Interesting Injectedcutty fact that now everyone knows. I've never seen a second of Fraggle Rock. Heard of it, but never saw it. Looks like a Muppet Show derivative.

Growing up, when wide-spread cable first came to my small-azz town, there were ads in the paper telling how great it was that you could get over a dozen channels. WOW! :) They were digging up stuff all over the place installing the infrastructure. It was cool and all, but my dad was Scrooge-like when it came to that. "PAY to watch TV? That's a bunch of BS!" So we were relegated to watching the 5 or so VHF channels and 2 UHF channels. And if the wind was blowing wrong, sometimes even less than that. We didn't even get a COLOR TV until something like 1969. And we only had ONE TV until 1973. I had a sad childhood living with my Dad the Scrooge. My dad finally relented into buying cable TV....in 1993!!!! And then, that was just the basic channels!

I didn't watch cable TV in my own house until around 1982. Stupid button box and all. Here's the exact type of box I got when I got my first cable. Super PITA to use:

Anyway, I like the CF inserts into the fenderwells. That's a nice detail touch, IMO.

My dad came out to visit for a bit. Didn't know he was bringing me a Gearwrench Pass thru socket set that he bought me, friggin awesome addition especially since I've been looking for a decent set.
The weather today is in the 50's and dry, so the Cutlass came out to play! Took him for a rip and he was grinning like a kid! The more I drive it with the LS the more I'm impressed with it! Obviously I have the best tuner too which is 90% of the battle with the swap. From a dig it just squats and goes! I can feel the difference with the Blazer rear bar and it rides so solid!!!!!
No pics or video of the cruise, but couldn't help take this one.....

So I got my new wideband gauge in yesterday, and the bezels can be swapped. I wanted it to match the other gauges so I figured I'd swap them real quick. Ended up thinking I lost a clear button, then realized last night I'm an idiot!!!!
Said button was actually a "light pipe" for the shift light function. Thanks Donovan for making my brain work last night and help get a solution lol! Anyways, the wrong instructions were with the gauge which initially threw me off.
This morning I ordered a couple more sport comps to finish up the radio bezel. Parts are coming in....I've got some work to do for sure!

Looks like I'm back to mocking up my final intake tubing. The mold for the whale weener showed up, and I got to work installing the wheelwell so I can properly locate the filter and fab a support bracket. I have the cut one end down some, but all the measuring I did is paying off!
I'll update once I get it closer to done. Should have plenty of parts coming in to keep me busy!

Said screw it, went nextdoor and used the metal chopsaw to cut the tube down. Neighbor is outta town, but I have keys to check on the place. I'm liking this simple intake. Donovan and I, along with the Spectre engineer dude have been working on this design for a couple weeks, and pretty sure we nailed it!!

Glad to hear you like the Blazer rear sway bar. Door handles, and inner fenders look really nice! Seeing all the work you have done lately, is keeping me motivated.

Thanks James! Alot of you guys are keeping me motivated whether y'all knew before or not. I'll be happy to get the driver side wheelwell final prepped and get them painted soon. I wanted to do final mockup on this intake first. With it outta the way I can focus on it again.

I've been chipping away the last couple days. I need to finish gauge wiring, but also need to address the brakes. The stock front brakes are new and nice, but having all the stuff for the Blazer swap makes it a no brainer to upgrade before I get an alignment.
Only problem was I painted the stuff a couple years back and it sat in a super humid shed until we moved! I got the stuff out last night to realize it all needed a scuff and repaint, go figure! I decided I wanted to change it up, so I got ole RKTPWRD's advice on whether the color combo in my head would look alright. So, the calipers went aluminum while the brackets stay black. I think they look cool now. Hope to find time to do the swap in the next couple evenings. Pics.....
