Still looks wrong. After you finish it and tune it, I again implore you to rid yourself of such shoddy workmanship and quality and sign the title over to me IMMEDIATELY (once tuned, of course) so you won't have to go through life regretting all you did to that car. I'll even come and pick it up and haul it away.

:)
That's hilarious! I'm flattered that you among others think highly enough of my build to try and convince me from enjoying the burnouts it shall see in the future!

Why I'm thinking of it, last night I was able to get the glovebox torn down in prep for cleaning and paint. The lock was a PITA for a bit due to the lock itself being upside down for some unknown reason. Once I managed to get it spun the paperclip trick worked flawlessly...

(y) I think I speak for all of us following your build that we can't wait to see those videos of rear tires getting smaller in diameter by using the road to sand off those treads while fogging for mosquitos at the same time.

Hey Tony, was that pic good enough? If not I'll go snap another but it's cold in the garage tonight lol.
Sorry for delay. Laid off from work and been hitting ground trying to get interviews.
Looks good and appreciate the pictures

So last night I tried to carefully remove the dash emblem to no avail. The studs broke which is common, however they emblem itself is unobtanium so I'll be doing a quick resto on it and use strong 3M spoiler tape to hold it on once the dash gets painted.
Earlier I had enough warmth and daylight to finish spraying the inside of the glovebox and gauge surround. I attempted the glovebox the other day, but it was raining and the paint laid down like crap...shoulda known but I was being impatient!
Anyways, today it laid down perfect, and the backside of the gauge surround is done too. Y'all might wonder why, but in my eyes painting from the backside first allows me to spray a little more wildly and get some of the hard to reach areas from the front.
Now that these are "jammed" I can move onto prepping the dash more. Looks like a couple small spots need the bumper repair trick, but shouldn't be a biggie. Speaking of, the one pic below shows the repair area and it looks great!

Just finished up a quick rehab on the dash emblem. I'll continue to look for a cheap replacement, but for now this will do. Just washed it real good, stuck some 3M spoiler tape on the back, and very carefully used a silver paint marker on the raised surface.

Got home with enough daylight to prep and spray more parts. I picked up this hood catch the other day(my original one is MIA) but it was rusty. Soaked it in Evaporust for a couple days, wiped down, several coats of self etch, then trim black. Also needed to spray the door jamb vents so knocked them out too. I want some billet ones, but haven't found what I'm looking for yet.
