Well boys I was caught off guard today! I texted my bodyguy to see pics of the other cutlass that kicked mine out....he sends me this back!!!!! View attachment 74122

I couldn't friggin believe it! To some it just looks like a cutlass in a garage, but those who have followed along know it's been sitting covered up outside for 10 months after a year of bodywork and being jammed!!!!
Surprisingly, the weather didn't effect it much at all, and he is gonna hit it hard next week. Since the window channels are painted already I'm gonna try to get the front and rear glass in next week. Honestly, shooting for having this thing painted in a month or so unless issues arise!

Here are a couple more pics I took while there. The yellow tape is areas that need to be addressed..... View attachment 74123 View attachment 74124

Eric, that's kind of what I thought as well when he sent me the pic! I had just parked my work truck and couldn't get there fast enough!!!! Luckily traffic was decent and I made the 40 mile trip in maybe 25-30 minutes :D!!!!
I'm hopeful to start having some legit updates by this time next week. LS parts purchasing will halt unfortunately, but I want my car back and painted!!!!

From my stand point it looks damn close but I can't exactly feal the block work from here lol I can tell you when I have them in prime like that it's usually about a day of blocking but there's always something to go back over and fix. Of course I do production work so it's always a flat out race to get done so I can rush through the next one. In this bisness your only as good as your last 5 minutes

So with the excitement of getting the cutlass back in motion, I spent some time last night getting needed parts stacked for relocation! The wife wasn't too happy about the "clutter", but I assured her these boxes will begin to disappear soon :D!!!

Looking good, it always feels good to see progress. Are you going all black? Are they going to paint it together, or does it come apart again?
